Townhouse Sold in Wake Forest

Selling a townhouse has been tough these days. With a ton of new construction options, resale townhomes have quietly sat on the sidelines, feeling like the last one to be picked for the schoolyard games. That's especially true when the quality of the townhomes being built is inferior to that of a well-designed, well-constructed townhome built just a few years ago. Arguably, it had a sense of privacy, yard, screened porch, and spacious living rooms; others didn't...but we needed to get them in the door to help them see that. When we started this process at the beginning of the year, the number of other townhomes in the area wasn't good, but they weren't triple digits. Over the weeks, that number grew and grew, and the buyer had to walk away from a home they wanted to purchase in another town as we sat patiently waiting for the right buyer to see the value that we had to offer. Finally, though, the story has a happy ending, and I couldn't be more pleased that my client is able to make a new life in a new town now!
